The 10-DVD (Black Belt Equivalent) C.W.C. system was developed by Certified Combat Catch Wrestling Instructor; Master-Mike Govich in 2017. This is a modern adaptation of traditional Catch-as-Catch-Can-Wrestling that Blends techniques (Throws, Neck Cranks, Chokes, Wrist Locks, Arm Locks, Foot Locks & Counters) from: Freestyle Wrestling, Greco Roman Wrestling, Freestyle Judo, Shooto (Shoot Wrestling), & Jujitsu (Japanese & Brazilian).

In addition to the various grappling systems, Catch Wrestling-Combatives breaks Catch-Wrestling tradition by incorporating basic stand-up striking techniques from Muay Thai Kickboxing & Boxing in order to be a well rounded Catch Wrestling-Fighter so you can be compatible with today’s MMA Fighter! Also taught is Street Self-Defense against various attacks! Learn to do it all with this unique Catch Wrestling System!

Phase 1 (Blue Belt Equivalent):
Wrestling & MMA Stances, Wrestling Takedowns and Basic Muay Thai/Boxing Strikes, Defense, Stances, Footwork & Combinations.

Phase 2 (Purple Belt Equivalent):
Catch Wrestling & Shoot Wrestling Standing into Ground fighting Techniques and Standing Wrist /Arm Locks & Neck Cranks/Chokes.

Phase 3 (Brown Belt Equivalent):
Catch Wrestling & Jujitsu Ground fighting and Clinch Takedowns into Leg Locks. Also taught is Ground Control techniques.

Phase 4 (Black Belt Equivalent):
Judo (No-Gi) Throws & Catch Wrestling Ground fighting and Street Self-Defense.
